Fashion always makes my heart beat faster. Lately, I have been tuning into my intuition more. I find that listening to your intuition really expands my experience. My intuition has been telling me I must do more with fashion, because I love it so. Here we are today, I am sharing some of my feminine summer outfits as inspiration for you today.
As always, I find nothing more feminine and comfortable than a dress. Although, skirts are also fine. How wonderful is it to be a woman and to just put on a dress and look amazing? A flattering dress is a consistent basis for a feminine and classy outfit during summer. You will notice, that my outfits always start with the basis. I will chose one piece of clothing that I put on my torso and I build the rest of my fashion look around it.

For this first summer outfit, I paired a classic black dress with a classic bag. The dress has a flattering cut with the v-neck and a-line skirt. The black color gives a lovely contrast to the white Saint Laurent sac de jour I am wearing. I love to add contrast to my outfits in terms of color. As a girl in the winter color palette, high contrast is most flattering on me. I paired this outfit with leopard flat sandals, from Fairfax & Favour, and diamond jewellery with my hair loose. Simple, but everything looks picture perfect. The leopard calf hair shoes add an interesting visual to the outfit and the diamonds show my taste for extravagance.

My lovely mother gifted me this gorgeous white & blue summer dress. This dress looks like it was made for Greece or Italy. I love the wide a-line skirt and belt with the bow. Because the neckline is high, I put my hair half up over my one shoulder. When wearing a high neck dress, it is physically pleasing to the eyes to see the hair either fully up or over one shoulder. This creates a better silhouette and is very feminine. I paired this outfit with neutral coloured cowboy boots and my light blue Mulberry Lily bag to stay in the color palette.
What do you think of my summer outfits? Have a lovely day.
Xoxo Brenda
