Work hard & play hard. I am a firm believer of allowing yourself to enjoy your free time with whatever your heart desires. There is a time for working on your goals and there is a time to enjoy the pleasures that life has to offer. There was a period in my life where I filled my free time with activities that I thought to be beneficial to me, without taking into regard if it truly brought me joy. I would read all these informational books, without taking the time to read novels that I enjoy. I would watch documentaries, instead of the series that really excite me. Gaming was another hobby that I did not always allow myself to spend my free time on. Now I know better.
When you truly believe you have worked hard and you spend the majority of your day on constructive, positive, beneficial activities, then you should also allow yourself to enjoy the small amount of free time that you have to just really unwind and relax. Gaming allows me to relax and to use my creativity. So today I will be sharing my most loved and played games!

1. Planet Zoo
Planet Zoo is a recent simulation zoo game, that game out in late 2019. This game is spectacular! The graphics are unreal and so realistic in 4K, the building has no restrictions and the company management functions are something that I have never seen before. This is a recent game and the quality is 10/10. This game features a whole working economy. I love how the animals in the zoo are like their own individual. Within the breeds there are different sizes, colours, patterns, scars, and behaviours. When you are new to this game it can be quite difficult to play, because there are so many features to take into regard. Building is unlimited, so that can be difficult for a beginner, although there are some templates of pre-build things in the game to get you started.
Planet Zoo has multiple gaming modes. Like: sandbox mode where you have unlimited resources, challenges, story line and my favorite: franchise mode. In franchise mode you build your concept of Zoo’s online. So the animals that you can buy are from other players for example and in every mode is a whole working economy. This game is superb for anyone who enjoys playing zoo’s or management games.
And for that matter, any game from Frontier Developments is amazing. I also played the Jurassic World one on console.
I play Planet Zoo on my MacBook Pro, with a virtual machine from Nvidia. You simply link your Steam account (where you bought Planet Zoo on) to Nvidia. I have the Nvidia subscriptions so I do not have to wait to load the server, but you can use their free server too.

2. The Sims, The Sims 2, The Sims 3, The Sims 4
The Sims is just a classic. This was the first game I really got into when I was younger than 10 years old and I never stopped loving it. Every The Sims game has it’s own charm and are very different. To this day you can still have tremendous fun with any edition. I do love all the expansion packs because they provide more gameplay.
Currently, I only play The Sims 4 because I really enjoy those graphics and it works nicely on my MacBook Pro.
This game: The Sims 4 base game will be free this 17th of October for anyone who buys it with their Origin account!
For those who never played this game: in The Sims you can make as many characters as you want and you play their lives in the Sims World. You can build houses and buildings, get generations are play challenges. Life is how you create it.
Because there is so much to do and you can download mods and cc content to add new things to your game, The Sims will never bore you! Available on pc or console.

3. Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley is the cutest farm rpg that simulates life as a farmer in Stardew Valley! This game is so surprising and hilarious with the 30 town characters. You can even marry one and start a family with children. Besides that, there is a lot of farming, scavenging, fighting with monsters, fishing and befriending to reach all your goals. This game is so cute, stress free and entertaining. There is much to do, some things are even quite challenging and there are always multiple story lines that you can follow.
I play this game on my iPad, but you can also play it on your phone, pc or console.
PS: I am beyond excited for the new Harry Potter game!
What are games you enjoy playing?
Have a lovely week! xoxo Brenda
