And it is feeling feminine that makes you step into your femininity. My newest discovery and love is the alluring Dior Hypnotic Poison. This sexy concoction is a a bottled love potion to help you fall in love with yourself.
The opening of the Dior Hypnotic Poison EDT perfume is complex with strong hints of vanilla and liquorice, but it transforms quickly in the most gorgeous scent with its dry down. The dry down of Hypnotic Poison is feminine, charming and alluring. This is a perfume for a strong woman who does not mind to be noticed. Hypnotic Poison will make you smell very feminine, lovable and dare I say sexy for those who come close enough.
I just keep sniffing my wrists and clothes when I wear this magical concoction. Dior created a truly hypnotic fragrance. It smells very strongly of deep, genuine vanilla on my skin. The scent is interesting with many layers. I find it very feminine, musky and interesting. I see Hypnotic Poison contains some of my favourite notes: Jasmine, rose, vanilla and musk. And to me those notes are most prominent.
I find Dior Hypnotic Poison to be fragrance befitting for a vampire or vampire lover. The depth of the fragrance is very vampy and intriguing. And then we have not even spoken about the bottle yet. The bottle is reminiscent of the poisonous apple in Snow White due to its roundish shape. The crimson color contrasts with the black cap and reminds me of the Vampire Diaries and Twilight. I find it gorgeous.
Dior Hypnotic Poison eau de toilette lasts extremely long on me, with 11+ hours on skin and longer on fabric. The sillage is medium strong, so this fragrance is definitely present. I find it truly hypnotising. I rate Dior Hypnotic Poison edt with a 10/10.
Initially I bought it because the bottle is so iconic and reminiscent of the vampire books/movies I love. But I am head over heels in love with the fragrance on itself too. Funnily enough, my husband usually does not like the stronger, prominent and ‘dark’ fragrances, but he really loves this one on me. Either his nose is getting accustomed to my explicit perfume taste or Dior Hypnotic Poison is truly hypnotic! 😉
